Been reading some of the Youtube comments on the White Island drama. Some classic ones.
Radio NZ block all comments now. lol. Our ‘official’ state media just blocks all comments/ debate/ real uncensored feedback.
Many comments asking why the ‘hell’ people were on the Island.
Some suggesting it be renamed Darwin Island.
Some saying Volcanoes should now be banned, possibly with a buy back scheme. And asking why our ‘leaders’ did not put a volcano on their heads while publicly apologizing.
One comment simply said “Kiwis are stupid and poor”.
And of course many questioning the actual footage, why no sound, why edited, why cut, and why are they now showing still photos of people when they speak? Is it to hide all of the tongue action?
